Jeff Wirth is a wildlife tracker and conservation photographer who captures photos in the forest with his camera trap, and he came across a “magnificent species”.

The bobcat, also known as the red lynx, is a medium-sized cat from southern Canada, most of the continental United States to Oaxaca in Mexico, originating in North America. It has been listed on the IUCN Red List since 2002 as the least concern because it is widely distributed and abundant. Credit: burningxjeff

It all began several months ago. “I was exploring a beaver-created wetland close to my house when I found a big fallen tree with several piles of a bobcat on it. I returned to the log the next day with a DSLR camera trap in hopes of catching photos of the responsible bobcat,” Wirth told Bored Panda.

It was the camera trap of the photographer who used a Canon EOS 5D Mark.

Wirth appreciated that the man did not steal his equipment or damage it and was content with posing for his camera. So, on Reddit, the photographer thanked the stranger for sharing one of his photos. People immediately fell in love with the story, and it got 151,000 upvotes, and even the man in question found the post. Thank you, Ben Sizemore, for the wholesome content.
